my new tattoo

just finally got my tattoo yesterday that was a memorial to my father. It has the trans am bird because we both had a love for trans ams, his name/dates, and a suicide prevention logo with the incubus lyrics across it, lmk what you think!
this pic was taken a few hrs after it was done (not cleaned up or anything) and Russ and Hardcore Tattoo did the work...my mom also got the matching lyrics on her back as well...

BTW...it's probably a good thing you didn't post a picture of your mom's up, i seriously thought it was your girlfriend or something lol. Might get some leg-humpers.

how was it over the shoulder blades? i hate getting tatooed over them; i always feel it in my fingertips.

not very fun at all over the blades...by far the worst part of the tattoo, and especially on the left side...but all in all it wasnt too bad until the last half hour, that was pretty brutal....it was weird when he went over my spine too because i could feel the needle vibrations in my chest

I'm planning on getting something like that done on my back too. Already have some tribal stuff across my shoulder blades and up my neck with an aztec style coin in the middle with my astro sign. I wanna get the bird right underneath, but I want it to be a little bit custom. Have the birds wings morph kinda tribal at the tips so it blends with what I already have.
