LSX engines seem to find their way into everything, VW Beetles, Honda Civics, Ford Mustangs, Mazda RX-7s and now a Subaru WRX.

I wonder if he was able to keep it awd? It'd be awesome if he did (awd + lsx motor = wow :bigthumb: ). Looking at it I doubt it, theres just too much motor to keep the diff and trans parts. Anyway awd or rwd its still an original. It'd be something fun to take to the LSX Shootout, catch alot of people off guard for sure.

thats awesome. Looks like he may have used an adapter plate to run the stock trans and awd. Which would explain why the maf is IN the front bumper (nearly). I think the torque of that engine is going to destroy the car faster then you can have fun in it. Sounded nasty though, love that.

might be possible, but i dont even know why you would try to keep AWD with that motor pushing it...

They're are some pretty cool conversions, and a few awd ones too. Definitely would be able to get some ken block style 180's smoking all 4 wheels. Idk which one would sound better though.
