Well considering this Friday is supposed to be nice out - hopefully no rain out like the 2nd

Anyone else going to hit up Cordova?
My mustang sold (or will, I'm intending on making delivery tomorrow) and I'll be rocking a new car Friday as long as I can get my friend to haul my ass 3 hours into Illinois - so if all goes as planned I'll definitely be there.

Was thinking if anyone else from here goes we can plan a place to park and meet up - especially since I've never ran into any of you guys.

i did end up going, ran fairly well for the 91 tune, im not a perfect driver, and im think it 1-2 sincro is going out... call it excuses idc, i ran a 13.42 at 103 with a 1.8 60', this is the 91 tune not the race tune just to be clear, full interior and sound system and a passenger on the fastest run, took me a couple runs to get the launch down but i did get it down and i think a 1.8 60' is pretty good!

tell us about your launch, or how you got it down. Also, whats the horsepower on the 91 tune?

Hopefully next Friday I'll be able to bring my formula

I might go friday. I went to davenport to the car show in the lx tonight.

Really Derek thats not bad at all for your first time. Seat time only makes you better.

103 for a 13.42 is right on for the power numbers. 1.8 is not a decent 60' for an AWD car for ANYWHERE near the power numbers Derek porteyed...

the first couple launchs i launched way to low, i wanted to get a feel for the track, but the 3rd run i got it down, 5200rpm approx. i prestaged, set my rpm and let the clutch slowly pull me forward till i was staged, i let the clutch barely grab so i knew the gears were meshed, and on the 3rd yellow it dropped it, you can say its wrong but idc, i did what i did.. no biggie, and if i were to estimate the hp level on the 91 tune comparing to the dyno graphs up on apr site with is for the 93 tune(447hp) at the crank, i would assume 400hp (maybe) at the crank... one of the things holding me back was having stock intercooler's.
i didn't want to go to the race tune cause it ups the boost to around 28-30psi, and people have been known to blow the end tanks off the stock intercoolers on the 91 tune, so i didn't want to risk it.

If the S4 is making 400hp, that must mean the car weighs about 4000lbs, to trap 103mph. I had know idea those cars were such pigs.

i'd still expect the AWD car with 400hp to pull a faster ET- the SRT8 Dodge's are running around those times, and they weigh 4200-4400lbs...
