these are in order from the dated one to longlog to longlog1

I did the recommend thing that v3 tells you but i'm still getting serious knock at 2500 and 3000 on light throttle. Not at WOT just light.

Oh yeah I use quick reply most of the time

Well i'll have to check it at home...but you should be able to turn the knock sensor off below certain perameters. What your experiences is what's called "phantom knock"...that is if your fuel trims are in check and your deadtime/global is set right. You simply turn the knock sensor off below these sitations (say below 3k rpms) and it will help.

okay I think I found something that would help and I cant belive I didn't notice this before.

I went to do a BLT and well found the bottom of my maf wasn't even connected to the pipe so it had about an 1/8th of an inch of air being sucked in that was unmetered.

I haven't put the laptop on it yet because the hockey game is on. I will try it later and see if that fixed it. I didn't even do a BLT since the tester I made is too fat and I cant get it on the turbo because of the lower radiator hose. SO I need to make an exstension for it.

You could be running 550's or 650's. You could actually stick the factory computer in with 450's and see how it runs. What do you run for BFP?

06-06-2009, 06:54 PM
38 psi with vacume off.

Try running 43 PSI BFP. The larger injectors should work better at low throttle/RPM with higher pressure. That is my understanding of it, and I run 45psi BFP. I saw knock ONE time and that was Friday on my way to work...no idea what that was about.

Okay, I will try that.

Do you have DSMlink? I would like to get a okay tune before I run it to revhard so I can get more time one the dyno with actually deep tuning because I could more bang for the buck.

I also noticed that the oil cooler in the oil filter housingis crushed. Im getting oil in coolant and I checked that was too tight. So I dont know if they would tune it like that.

I just wouldnt run it like that. I have an external air oil cooler on mine. Not very expensive and worth the effort/money. I do not have dsmlink (may soon though). I have a keydiver chip that does A LOT, and the AEM UEGO. I found that knock again tonight, Im guessing my plugs are shot...running really rich WOT on BPR7ES at 10psi. Gonna stick those 6's back in tomorrow I think.

7es's on 10psi is dumb lol

I can give you a good tune if you want before you go to Revhard. Do you have your wideband wired into Dsmlink?

Yeah now I do..

I have an oil cooler situation I need to take care of first. Its crushed on the oil filter housing so Its leaking about 1/4 of a quart in 3k miles into the coolant. I havent had any cooling issues .
