I just went white water kayaking too... but i didnt get any pictures kinda hard when you are in a river in a boat... it was scary and fun at the same time... never been scared of drowning until you are trapped in a boat and cant flip it back over.

good to hear from you again man. are you by chance going to be back in state this summer at all? it turns out Reverend Horton Heat is playing in Rock Island in August- and i will be there. figured itd be a fun show we could call go to if you were back in town...

You seem to always find something to keep you busy. And its never just, mowing the yard (thats how I kill time). White water rafting I may have to try. Does it cost more to live in Colorado as compared to Iowa? I've often thought of moving out their.

The Rev. comes out to Vail every year. I saw him already this winter. Yes I am coming back home this summer for my tattoo artist's wedding. Thats in like a couple weeks.

Yes it is more expensive to live out here. ALOT more... I recently moved back into employee housing so i could cut my rent down to $325 a month rather then the $800 i was paying.

But yeah the benefits far outweigh the costs. On my days off i go white water rafting, white water kayaking, parasailing, zip lining, mt. biking, hiking, camping, 4x4ing, etc. and most of it is free. My kayak is gonna run me about $1000 but once i spend the $$ all it costs me is gas to drive up the river.

Just yesterday i went kayaking and today because i got the day off due to weather, i went to A-basin and went snowboarding again.

It rocks out here but you have to want the lifestyle. I dont have much of anything anymore, i know i'll never be weathly or even well off... but i will love everyday that i live out here.
