Here's a couple pictures of my new rear brakes and 5/8" wheel studs. They are low quality but I will post some once the car gets out of the body shop.

and the reason its in the body shop, this is what happens when the hood comes up at 75mph!!

Came unlatched on the interstate and my safety cable didn't hold. Sounded like a cannon going off in the car.

Sorry to see that happen Ryan....

Dustin.. they only make 93 cobra wheels in 4 lug. As far as I know no one has broken the studs off a 4 lug. Wheel replicas sells knock offs.

really? i thought the 93 Cobras were the only fox's that came with 5 lug? i guess you learn something new every day...

He's painting the whole car and replacing all rubber seals, handles, damn near a complete outside restoration, it is a 16 year old car.

looks good, Ryan!

so, when are you coming back into town?? can't wait to see that girl run again.

oh, and possibly thinking about purchasing a certain 1990 hatchback. could use some insight if you have it. Scott doesn't really know the car.

Thank you, I was at tri-state on saturday getting my NHRA license I should have called.

He is going to sell his car? From what I remember is a stock short block, Ported GT40X aluminum heads, anderson cam, gt-40 intake, long tube headers, s-trim w/cog belt, ford motorsport brakes, complete rear suspension, koni shocks and struts, ford motorsport coil springs, 3.73 gears, Crane Interceptor computer, and a few other parts I can't remember. Its fun to drive thats for sure. We are going to be at the next CFR 10.5 race, hopefully you and Scott can make the race.

Here she is all done!

i know!! i was giving him a hard time about it. telling him i would change the oil, wash her, etc. if i could drive her for a weekend. told him she needed it.

that would be when he said he would consider an offer on her from me. i don't know the first thing to offer him. i know it's been babied, but she has also sat for quite some time. heaven only knows what's leaking by now. if you have any other input, just pm or call me. or scott.

ryan, thanks for the info. he couldn't remember everything. i would like to drive her. i don't think i ever did. might give me a better idea. or get me addicted. did you get your NHRA license?? :yawinkle: the next 10.5 race is june 13th, right? i'm pretty sure we will be there.

Thanks, Tbtalon is correct they are made by aerocatch, I hate to loose the stock look but I cant afford to have the hood come up again. They are working great so far.

Here are some new parts, they are under 8lbs each.

Thank you, he was very happy how well it turned out as was I. I'm changing to a different transmission next week so I should be able to make the next 10.5 race on the 13th. Hopefully more people show up this time, it was a small turnout for the first race.

What are you going to do with the seat, hang it from the ceiling in your room and use it for some kind of swing? Fockers look pretty good, why dont we see how they look in my car, I'd hate to see them get banged up and worn in your car
