12 year old kid was allowed to come on stage at 1st ave. live last saturday night to play a drum solo on fair to midlands set. The kid is awesome, and so is FTM for allowing him to do this.

I dought rock band did that, as its a totaly diffrent thing. Rock band is a game, not acctual music, or notes. Im guessing hes been taking lessens from a pro for some time.

'Rock band' drumming has relevance to real drumming.....hitting pads/drums with sticks....keeping time is what it will teach you and that is the tough part, for me at least.

However, guitar hero =/= real guitar, except maybe strumming timing, but that isn't even the half of it.
