2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4
45900 miles
$13250 OBO

I’m VERY picky on my vehicles on maintenance and cleanliness, and take care of all my cars. There will be no suprises if you come look at or purchase this truck, so I am being specific as I can. Feel free to pull a CarFax, if you do and purchase the truck, I’ll refund your CarFax charge!

I bought this truck new in May 2003 from Jim Baier in Fort Madison. It has never had any body work done whatsoever, and doesn’t have a single dent on the body (there is a dent on the rear bumper, see pics). Never been smoked in, and well taken care of. Odometer is getting ready to turn 46K miles, and it has the remainder of the 7/70 power train warranty from Dodge. I changed the oil every 3K religiously, and changed the plugs/rear diff fluid at 30K miles. Tranny was flushed at the Dealership at 36K miles. I document all maintenance I do, along with any other maintenance (tire rotation, etc). Brakes were changed last year, and the tires are BRAND NEW OEM Goodyears ($1200) and have less than 1K miles on them. It drives like brand new!
Besides the options on the factory sticker, it has a K&N filter, Truxedo tonneau cover (not cheap, can fold it yourself!) chrome nerf bars, OEM chrome exhaust tip, and OEM chrome doorsill covers.

Body/Wheels
I’d rate it a 8.5 out of 10
Has no dents at all as mentioned above except on rear bumper picture. You will notice on the same picture all the pock marks, that is from getting a load of gravel from the quarry, and by FAR the worst part on the truck. There are a few scratches on the front bumper below the pass. Headlight, and besides that, small scratches here and there. You will see I took a picture of each rim, there are no curb rashes or bends at all but they are polished aluminum wheels and the clear coat is coming off of them in a few places.

Interior
I’d rate it an easy 9.8 out of 10.
Interior does not rattle at all, and is VERY clean and well taken care of. If it was professionally detailed, it would look brand new. Seats/carpet/headliner have absolutely no tears/rips/stains. Driver seat shows slight wear creases. Everything functions as it should EXCEPT the passengers map light on the ceiling, the light works but the push button is broke (you can’t tell by looking at it, you push the light to turn the light on when driving, and it won’t “click”.

Engine/Tranny
10 out of 10
No it’s not a Hemi, although it has Hemi badges. Dodge came out with the Hemi in 2003, the same year I bought this truck. I was tired of everyone asking “THAT THING GOT A HEMI?” so I just went out and bought the damn badges, it shut everyone up! The 4.7L 318 is a great proven motor, and I have towed a car on an open trailer and had plenty of power (got 9mpg towing).
Never had any leaks of any kind, transmission and 4X4 work excellent. Only time this was at the dealer (besides tranny flush) was for a cam angle sensor replacement a few years ago, covered under warranty and when I 1st bought it the tilt steering wheel didn’t work. Truck drives like new, goes straight down the road and I’d drive it to the moon and back if I could (afford the gas).

KBB private party book is $14500, asking $13250 OBO. More than welcome to ask for specific pics or come for a test drive.
