from craigslist to avoid disturbance as you will be receiving payment

need you to provide me all this information to facilitate the mailing
of the check. 1. Your full name to be on the check. 2. Your mailing
address (residential address) please not P.O BOX address because i
want the payment to get to you at your house or your office address to
make the transaction fast 3.Your phone number and the best time to
contact you is essential.***As for the pick up,i will know how to
handle that as we are traveling this weekend so,
my mover(Economy Movers, Inc and Delivery Service) that has been
helping me to move in my belongings into our new home,will come for
the pick up
once the Certified Check has been cashed and i will like to complete

lol, they really need to get a new game.

What they would do is say that someone(wife,secretary, etc) sent you a check in the amount of what they owed the moving company plus the truck, then ask you to deposit the check, and then write a check for the movers from your checking account, they would offer you some kind of compensation for this like 100 dollars or something. THen the check they sent you would bounce and you would be out the money you paid to the "movers."

Its pretty stupid, both my cousin and my gf got caught up in this scam, sadly unlike my cousin, my gf lacked the common sense to realize waht was happening, and well after a few weeks she recovered the money after going through banks and online places like google and paypal.

All i had to say to her was, if it's to good to be true it probably is. She was buying something, but my cousin was selling a car and got almost the exact response the OP did.

These kinda of people that do this need a good ass kickin
