on friday, there were 69 registered people...it was a great turnout for the first event of the year!!

no!!! but for autocross, it would only need suspension parts and tires. the amount of power he has stock, is enough for tight courses.

he needs to up grade to maybe road course... autocross is what 2nd gear only?? maybe even 1st gear only! lol

I'm liking the old 3 series BMW. Just out of curiosity how did that lightning manage the course?

slow at first, but the he got someone to ride along with him and managed to do pretty well.

I think we are going to MAM this summer...at least i am. he was in 1st and second the whole time. I know the silver evo is going to MAM over summer though because thats what it was built for :supz:

The way Chad is talking I dont think he plans on modding the evo at all. Although he did say he might head out to MAM with us this summer.

Kville I didnt even know you were there? Did i meet you? If not you should introduce yourself next time. And yah the next one is at adventer land end of april. I will be there and I will have good tires and an alignment :tonqe:

I dont know if I met you or not.... but I was there with my wife and a kid named Ben that used to have a turbo crx if that helps any but I will be at the next one as well so I make sure we meet up next time.

The E30 does okay. We need more of you to come out.

I'm going to the BMWCCA track event @ MAM, everyone else should come as well. I believe it's somewhere around $300 for the weekend, including a nice dinner + room. Two days of instruction.

i think i might be in Decorah for 3 days or so and then coming back to Cedar Rapids Sunday. i dont think i want to drive 4 hours in the morning and then auto cross all day then drive back to CR. if plans change i will be there though!
