I did a AEM Tune This Saturday on a 1G DSM.. some info of the car.

built motor
Pump Gas 92 Octane
280 Cams
RC 1000CC injectors

PTE 35 turbo non-ball bearing/ Mitsu hotside

External wastegate, internal dumped.

This tune came out awesome. starts up and drives like stock ecu.

What a AEM Fuel map should look like.

Notice with the 280 cams it requires alot of fuel under load...(not a fan of these cams) Turbo is not to bad for spool being mitsu hotside and non-BB.

Pic of a log: 3rd Gear pull. Timing is not shown for privcy of the tune. 24.5-25psi pump gas!

This car runs very good, has some TQ stear due to open diff, and has slight traction problems in 1st and little in second gear, needs some good drag radials. should be in the 400-440whp range. If the owner keeps up on the car you should see it around this summer. It will be getting a race gas 30+ psi tune soon!

Enjoy!

well most maps look very simaler, could be the setup, also has a JMF intake manifold and the 1G head is very diffrent from 2G/Evo's

I set a A/F ratio of 11.1-11.2 due to the amount of boost on pump gas, if I were to tune it for say 21psi on pump I would prob go for a 11.6 A/F would make the "hill" not so tall. lol

The intake ports on a 1G are Huge, and the port angle to the valves are much more flat than 2G DSM ports...

Damn thats quite the hill. Nice smoooth map though :)

My evo doesn't like that much fuel under low load. I can't wait to see it run!

You mean the Throttle Injection correction? This runs the best i've run. Idle/part throttle/decel/etc. all run very very smooth. My o2 feedback is within +/-5% also. Maybe we should try to make a new map with less throttle injection correction. That's only a "hybrid boost comp" map though.

could try less, its only going to make you add fuel in those % though... On wacha's I only use -8% to 0 at 18% throttle. Thats with those RC 1000's though.

my 1600's use -5% up to 0 at 45% throttle

That looks more like mine ^ except without the decrease in fuel up top.

Kind of cool to see other maps. Anyone else around here got AEM care to share?

I would like to see some more also. The fuel stays the same at the top, it just appears to drop.

Snake, your VE is awesome, not droping means you have plenty of flow left for sure! must have some crazy intake and amazing flowing heads.. im sure the twin turbos help with that as well!

Thanks, I was told by precision these turbos really start to come on above 26lbs. I don't tune this car Joey @ Excessive does all of it I just add or subtract a little here and there, I built the motor but he is the wizard on the keys. Heads flow a ton, intake is huge, two 76mm turbos help also. I haven't had it above 24lbs yet but maybe in a few weeks we can see what 35lbs will do. If it sticks im guessing 1500 wheel or very close.
