We got the 93 out today, took it down to the local car wash, washed about an inch of dust off of it. Then it was time for a little "drive"
He ran 3 gears "really hard" ....then .."booomm!" the blower stopped making noise and the alternator stopped charging!
as we expected, the front of the crankshaft was busted off!

So were going to pull the engine, fix it, and try to have it back together in a couple weeks.

Sorry to hear that bad news. Next to last time I raced a bolt on lt w a procharger w very moderate boost, month or so after the lil race, the lt snapped the crank. Far as I know still sitting.

sorry to hear that doc..thats a example of why everyone recommends running a crank with a big block snout to take some of the pressure off the crack snout..
