Do you have it?! Before I order I want to know if theirs any local shops that carry:
Redline MT-90
Redline MTL
Redline Shockproof heavy

also if anyone can recall the amount the DSM awd trans takes so I know how much Im going to order...[edit] nvm that will have to order 4 quarts either way it looks. extreme psi charges handling and then shipping and it adds up to stupid.

thanks

heavy shockproof in the rear(~ 1 qt) and transfer case(~ 1 qt) and just regular penzoil synchromesh in the trans(4 qt's). You would probably be just fine with a 75w90 synthetic in the rear and transfer case though. Nothing really special about MTL or mt90.

I have a few quarts of Red heavy duty I think.

I already have the shock proof HD in the transfer case and rear end. From what I have read and understand (and you can read in my build thread) its best to use a 50/50 combo of the MT-90 and MTL.

appreciate the help, I figured if a place carried the shock proof hd I would pick up some more.

I doubt they'd carry redline stuff. Think of their market. I could be wrong though.

Autozone has penzoil synchromesh. Best thing for your transmission at the power level you will be at. It will shift better than mtl/mt90. It's like $6-7 a quart buy it. You could mix it with some 75w90 synthetic to add extra shear strength protection. It's what I, Ryan, greg, etc ran and thousands of others run. I even use the synchromesh in my t56 in the vette.

if you decide you want Redline still, Performance's number is (319) 373-5321

Thanks everyone. I'm back in CR so I will get something here soon. I've read what each company claims is different about their product and what it does. Only thing that worries me is team rip wont even warranty a trans if they see syncromesh has been used. Theirs some difference between some of these. Im not exactly sure what, but Im for going to end up with a bit of a cocktail as Trevor would say.
