how the hell do they go that damn fast with stock unported superchargers!! thats crazy shit, must be pretty light cars

I'm impressed at the guys doing it without a solid axle swap and with the six speed still in the car.... I realize an auto is quicker or more reliable in terms of consistency but going that quick with the stock eaton (ported or not) is still a hell of a feat in my eyes.

Almos car is light Scott and he shifts good considering the t56. Take a look here. Then again maybe cam timing is optimum also. Pretty good pwr for upper and lower unported. Or all 3.

I agree Nate the irs sucks launching w a t56. Mo props to them for sure. But remember out of 5 runs maybe one good one. 03 T56 sucks imo. Adam jumped in my car and tried it. Results weren't good. 3650 shift lot better but are weaker. I'd get the t56 triple cone upgrade at least w billet keys. Or u'll break/chew stuff if aggressive.

Suppose to be around 3300 w driver but who knows, you saw the car it looks stock. hard to get those under 3200 w/o driver, engine weighs a lot mo than a sbf. Btw most those guys on east coast which is worth something w a eaton. No way our air is hardly ever that good. Most I saw back stock was a 1.5# increase in boost just weather. 8.5 to 10. Those guys can get more. His 60 ft isn't all that, so weight and/or hp.

Really when he switched to a upper and lower vs a upper, peak hp didn't go up that much but tq. did. Like over boosting a small turbo, you get something down low/mid from the eaton if it hooks up..

My prediction is looking at this crap many more nitrous/eatons will be in the 9's. I'd say a t56 and irs could do it w right tires and suspension at 3.3k this spring. Lots easier though w a auto and sra.

Here you go video of the fastest ported eaton 6 speed, irs, w and w/o nitrous in the country. Notice he misses 4th gear, been a hi 9 for sure on that sprayed run. 16# boost, 104 ul, 25 deg timing. Oh yea... he has the nazman ported intake and other intake mods. The car made 568rwhp and 591rwtq on stage V+ port with 4lb. lower and 2.90 upper. Made 660rwhp and 739rwtq on the 125 shot. Dynojet. 3640# w driver

Ya truthfully when I see that car video, it makes me want to kick my azz and my car.... Its lot lighter but sh-t I should do better by far. :supz: To cobrastruck. Btw that's w a slp full exhaust system. hdrs, o/r x and catback.

A lil update on Almos car.... Appears all 3.. weight, driving and just a good engine/tune. Weight is down in c5 vette territory.
Almo.......10.84 @ 129.38..1.69.....Stock Eaton 2.75 upper....SRA w/ 3.73....DR...3325 race weight

Then he did the upper and lower of sizes 2.9 upper and 6# lower, still stock eaton and intake.
