I love my WRX. Its my daily driver so i dont want to go too crazy with mods. There are just a all around good car. I like to do some auto cross too which is what these cars are made for. thanks for the compliments

Looks real good Eric, and the car has really changed since you first got it. Just out of curiosity where did you go to take the first picture? The one with the trees and river, lake, random body of water (IDK what it is) in the background.

Should add a caption to explain the parts. Looks like a lot of fun tho. Idk if I'll be able to help or not depending on what happens with the talon.

I think most will understand. as most of us understand the change from 14b to e3b16g. I know I understand the change!

If anyone can see how much bigger that turbine wheel is on the sti turbo they should know!
BTW...since you have an aluminum intercooler, we could weld on any flange you'd want for a bov of your choice.

^ I just saw they sell a flange that bolts on as stock with different bov flanges. haha, twice as likley to fail but easy install right?
Found a nice vid of a 16g car practicing his launches, worth a look.

Ya, that hot side looks to be about the only difference between the 2 turbos. So is the compressor the same size on both turbos?
TbTalon94

Compressor wheel is definantly bigger.

Um Yeah, itty bitty. It being designed for a moped and all. (Really it is going on a moped, I looked it up)

a 16G would have been the best all around turbo i think, the subi guys love them. Or a green they love those to. your car is a 2.5 so even a green on there is not going to be laggy. this turbo you intalled with stop making peak power around 5800-6k
Ricky

most of the time im shifting at 5500 or 6000. Maybe down the road i will go bigger but the turbo was cheep and a great upgrade. I also already had the map for it and it was a direct bolt on. was a pretty straight forward install and it responds a lot but now. Im happy with my DD

Yea streetability is key. Like Dustin and I have been saying (to each other anyway) it's way more fun to have a fun 300hp car than built big hp when its more likely to break something. This is of course in relation to fun factor and cost. lower cost seems to; in the end, be more fun...like my motorcycle lol.

Streetable car with a good power band is fun as hell. Can't get enough of it :)

Yeah I love my car right where it's at right now. Has 35,000 miles on it now and I have never had a problem at all. It just needs suspention now and tint and she will be perfect.
I have had this plan to get another car and make something and hope to start it this summer. It will be sweet when it's done but it's going to need a lot of custom work... Hi Trevor
