so after two years of beating on her my turbo finally took a shit on me at the end of last year. i was just wondering if any knew of any places around town or within iowa that rebuilds turbos??? or if i have to any shops in the United states that rebuilds turbos? i don't feel like upgrading turbos yet so i figure it mite be cheeper just to have the stock one rebuilt. oh incase it matters its a T25 off a SR20DET.

Theres a guy in mount vernon who rebuilds turbos. Problem you are almost garunteed to run in to is that if you turbo took a shit you most likely scarred the shaft which means youll just eat up new bearings if you put them in anyway. I've tried to have 3 garrett T25 off SR's rebuilt and all 3 of them had hosed shafts. You will most likely either have to buy a new center section or just buy a new turbo. Otherwise you could buy my ball bearing T28 and I'll get something bigger :)
