I've heard alot about those cams and I'm not sure what to think of them. I've heard they designed them more for the sound then performance.... thumper cams are for people who want the muscle car lope without actually needing the parts to back it up basically. They can give a little better then stock but not much more then a cam that's designed for the system.

What I heard also pretty much, close lobe seperation angle for more overlap. I myself really don't care as long as it gets job done, but some old guys like old sound. My old 69 engine now has a very mild hyd 210 dur tq cam w 112 angle and it makes a lil lope. Most stock cams these days are around 114 to 116 for emissions and smooth idle.
