Check it out shop/team 422 motorsports cars at the track. With the new blocks available they are going fast n/a. Reason I mention that back in late 62 cross bolt mains, equal intake/exhaust port spacing, in 65, side oiler and sohc. Guess what.. that's the same setup on a mod mtr, lsx, and chrysler new hemi, only head setups are a lil different. With these new fe blocks available they are plenty fast n/a imo. Look at the rules under 422 motorsports, those rules are brutal.

The reason I put this up do the calculation on hp, even at 3200# w driver that's over 950 n/a hp or over 800 whp. To run a 8.82 at mid 150's in a box. I think it could be heavier, w full interior station wagon, etc. No spray, no s/c, no turbo, just a n/a highly efficient carb mtr. Which means if 3400# w driver even mo hp, 1000+ hp.

Did I tell you they have new fe heads available from blue thunder? Along w 3 different racing/street blocks, shelby, genesis, and pond. Top it off in all alum., almost as light as a ls mtr. All new hd rocker arm setups. It seems the cobra replicar ppl have made this possible. Sure these cars aren't lookin cool, sweet or what have you. In a fox body at 2800# w driver capable of 8.3's at 160's n/a. Did I mention wagon is a stick w a twin disk? :supz:
