Ford HEI/MSD-6A help...

Trying to wire up my HEI and MSD-6A but not 100% sure how to do it... I know th eobvious wires... but the coil neg. and coil pos. and then the white or green/violet

MSD wres:
Heavy Black - Battery Negative
Heavy Red - Battery Positive
black - coil negative
orange - coil positive
red - switched 12V
white - to points or amplifier output
green/violet - to magnetic pickup in distributor or crank trigger
(white and green/violet are never to be used at the same time)

Here check these out.. Just follow the HEI instructions this Distributor should be the exact same as a GM HEI 4 pin I believe. If not just follow the other instuctions for 5-7 pin HEI
