listening to it, i think the Z06 in the first clip is even an auto. awesome.

Z06's are only offered from GM with 6 speeds.

i was wondering that- had never heard of an auto Z06. if it is a 6 speed, thats one quick shiftin' sob

GMMG, Lingenfelter and others might offer the auto 6 speed conversion (not sure) but from the factory the ZR-1 and Z06 are only offered as 6 speeds. Dates back to the beginning of the 2001's, that was the only way they got offered. If you find a 'Z06' that is an auto without explanation it's not.

I guess gulf specs are same as usa stock besides cluster, what original poster said per my spies on myls1.com. And the comments on #1, 27 pgs of arguing ppl, damn some things never change. All I know is lots of things can happen in a street test. Imo the vette has the edge straight line, has more hp and weight is a lot less if it gets traction.
