Sign up was at 8 am in MI time, they were expecting the quickest sign up turnout ever and as they said they got it. Sold out in 4 minnutes. Me and Dad were up at 6:30 just waiting for 7 oclock our time to get a spot, luckly enough we were one of the first ones in and got Two spots for PINKS ALL OUT for July 11th In Martin MI!

Good luck, you guys have some real good equipment, I've seen that black camaro run very consistent. They always find a sweet spot of the cars there and do that. If 10.1's then u need 10.1's. I'd say bring a assortment of jets.

I can't see them revealing the competitive times until after everyone has run their qualifying runs. Sometimes the field is only separated by a few tenths of a second. No way to dial that in without a few more runs on top of what you already ran.

No way to hustle/sandbag....uh oh...

just judging from how the shows always end up, i would set the car up to run 10.0-10.1 consistantly. that seems to be the field more often than not....

your forgetting this is in Martin Mich too, there is alot of heavy hitters up in that area so I wouldnt be surprised to see alot faster cars than what usually is in the show.. and to get the car to run within a few tenths isnt that hard at all, a few tenths is a lifetime on the track, should be able to guess what jet to put in and be fairly close.

I agree there is no way of knowing what time they are picking, its all a guessing game.

Still imo based upon other shows 10.0 10.1 has been pretty good. You figure they probably want at least 16 cars within a couple of tenths. Ed's a master of guessing others times so he should be good, nothing else sit w a camera or stopwatch and see. Or spy if you know who's showing. Just my opinion, just want them to do good.

While I will still be going to this event, I have graciously turned over my ticket to drive to Brian Havlik from H&W SpeedShop. I wouldn't have even entered had he not told me about the event and when to enter. The fact that his computer fracked up and the event selling out in 3 minutes, well, I feel I did the right thing. I'm buying my own tickets to be crew for him and still encourage all of you to come on over. I'll be trailering my car anyway in case there are less than 400 that show and they allow stand-bys.
