Pontiac G8 GT

I spotted one of these months ago, and have been kind of hooked on the idea of one as a nice DD. Im not finding to much info on them, but they seem like the perfect car for basic bolt ons, and a fantastic sound system. A set of wheels and suspension to get it sitting right...

I think they could be gorgeous cars. Anyone else see what I see?

I cant seem to find any with nice mods, or in the colors I like. So Im gonna go photoshop what it SHOULD look like..BRB

Pretty bad ass looking, and it seemed to have some serious power... Like 500+ IIRC

I think they are gorgeous cars. Bad market at the time for a v8 4door car, which is a shame. I hope they keep them. I believe an ls3 model is planned as a gxp next year. 420+hp in a 6 speed 4 door? AND cheaper than a cts-v. Hells ya

A white one might be the replacement for my S4 in a few years. Not sure I can deal with the automatic, but it is a six speed. I just like the fact it would be easy to work on like my Vette and simple to add a few bolt ons and run 12's on pump.

Its like a detuned gto. I always wanted the new gto, but this car has a lot more class.

Motor Trend had a nice review on them. And mentioned plans of running it head to head with other cars in the class. Also said gm hinted at offering a manual.

I think being an automatic really takes away from the interiors appearance.

hopefully they stay, theyre a nice 4 door w/ performance on the side. would be great for a dd w/ some bolt ons.

hopefully the drop in gas prices will revive them because sales have been abysmal. sold ok for the 4 months(just over 6k units iirc) then took a sharp drop and havent recovered.

I love those cars if i could ever bring myself to buy a new car the G8 would be the only one i would want. Very nice cars i have test drove a couple too lol
